Bruce, that looks like a picture I have seen of Alvis J. Hamilton who was the son of John Hamilton, b. abt 1843 and Lydia Jane Byrd, b. 1848. Her parents were William A. Byrd and Elizabeth Ann (?). William was the son of Thomas T. Byrd and Sadie/Sady Downs who married April 15, 1818 in Lawrence Co., TN. Other children of Lydia Jane Byrd Hamilton were: William J.,, b. abt 1867, James A., b. abt. 1869, Alvis J., 1873, and Maggie L. Hamilton, 1875.
