I am a descendant of Azael (Azell) Daniel Harris and his wife, Patience. While comparing census information I realized that there are three daughters of this couple that I do not have. One was born between 1810-1815 One was born between 1815-1820 One was born between 1825-1830 Gracie, Jane K, and Catherine M. were their other three daughters. They also had 5-6 sons Gracie Harris married a Hallmark and named two of her children Azael and Patience. Does anyone know of any other Marion County families who have children or grandchildren named Azael (Azell) or Patience? This Harris family consistently uses that same names down the generations. This Harris line is part of the line of Robert Harris of Ware Creek, New Kent County, Virginia. They are part of Group 6 of the Harris Y-DNA Family Study. Did Gracie marry Robert Hallmark? Robert was a brother to my gg-grandfather, Taylor Hallmark. Do you have any documents that might help prove who Gracie married? This is so exciting because we never knew who Robert's wife's last name was.
