    2. Sorry about the previous email. Most of it did not get sent. I'll try again. Elizabeth Lavada Cooper ,1897-1988, married William Monroe Rye,1893-1992?, in 1914. He was the son of George Washington Rye and his second wife Sarah Jefferies. The couple had sons- James O, Gordy, and Joe. They are all deceased. Daughters- Magdalene Rye Tyler- Florence, AL, Kathleen Rye Lovett- Winfield, AL, Mildred Rye ( married to Dan Brown, deceased. She has remarried, but I do not know his name), and Arlee Rye Carter (deceased- was living in Northport, AL). She was married to Travis Ray Carter, now of Winfield. Arlee was my mother. I do know a little more about this Rye family. They go back to Solomon Rye, Sr who first appeared in records from the American Revolution in North Carolina.
