Hello, saw the name Beasley and decided to jump in and say Hi, I am a Beasley from Marion Co, Al. The only Beasley I have is my gg-gm. Her name is Martha Beasley. She was born about 1824. She married Elisha Sharp 5 Nov 1865 in Lafayette County MS. They had 4 known children I know of. John J, Alice Tif, "Dock" and my g-gf, Arthur Columbus Sharp. He was born in Tula MS 16 Mar 1879. There was 9 years between Dock and my g-gf so there may have been more children. The first three were on the 1870 census for Lafayette County. My g-gf was in Woodruff County AR in 1898. That is when he married Martha Young, my g-gm. I don't know when Elisha died or where, but Martha was with my g-gf's family in 1904 & 1915. I have pictures of them together taken in those years. Land records for Marion County show Beasley families living in the same area as my Sharps in Marion County. Their names are John J Beasely, William A Beasley Thomas J Beasley. The general area was west of Winfield near the Fayette County Border. I can't connect Martha to any other Beasleys.
