Something is bothering me though. You said that your g.g.grandmother Rebecca Brown was the daughter of William Marion Brown. My information tells me that she was a sister of William Marion, and that she did indeed marry Joseph Washington Palmer. Here are the dates that I took from the grave markers. Robert Brown b 1814, d 1888. Wife martha b 1815, d 1894. W. M. Brown b Dec 16, 1835, d March 12, 1864. I'm hoping W. M.'s dates are correct, they were had to read, the others were not.
