We know he died July 07, 1930 in Witchita, KS. But we know nothing of his life between birth and death. Does anyone have him in their database? His parents were John "Jack" Jackson Jenkins and either Sallie or Mandy Ellis. We aren't sure which of the sisters was his mother. That would help tremendously to know, too! Thre is a marriage record in Alabama Marriages, 1809-1920 for John Jenkins and Sara Ellis on july 15 1861 in Blount County, Alabama--married by a Minister of the Gospel. Surety was D.F. Allgood. There are several Sara/Sarah Ellis on the 1860 census in Blount County.
