I know that Sarah Roebuck married the Unknown Purvis, 1825 in Marion Co. Alabama. I can find no information as to what this Unk Purvis' first name could be. Sarah and the Unk Purvis had several children, William Purvis, Miles Purvis, Joshua Purvis, and Isaac Purvis.
