I told you the wrong directions to the New Hope Cemetery that we visited a few days ago. From Hodges, Alabama, take State 187 toward Hamilton, turn right on Co. Hwy 20, don't stay on it as I said before, when you come to Co. Hwy 29, take that road, the cemetery is on 29, not 20, I'm sorry :-( It has an old cemetery and a newer cemetery. The sign that tells this is on the premises. I believe it says before 1900, then there is the newer, they are separated. The older is behind the church, you can't see it from the road. There is a small white church house, did not see a pond. Palmers and Nichols are buried there. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
Thanks to all of you that responded to my email about New Hope Cemeteries. The cemetery on Highway 29 is the one I want! Thanks again to all of you.
