In looking at the Marion County census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870 it looks like John Parker's parents were William and Elizabeth Parker. The 1850 and 1860 censuses lists William Parker's place of birth as Tennessee and the 1870 says Alabama. Elizabeth and children were born in Alabama, according to census.     3. Are any of you in touch with a Sterling Parker? He may have some info for you. He lives in ALA. Also, I have some pictures of Parker family, will have to go back and see what thier names are exactly. They where taken in what appears to be the 1950's?
