Barbara, Can you tell me more about your Coon family? My g grandmother was a Coon....and her parents were around Pickens/Marion County, AL. His name was James Coon (s) married to Mary White. My g grandmother, Mattie Lou, was born Nov 25, 1861. Her father James apparently was not on the scene after the Civil War. She had a brother named Jim who later was a minister, according to family stories. Can you help me? Thanks so much Timmie
