My g-g-g-grandmother was Mittie Ann Waters born in GA or SC had a younger brother named John. I believe I located her family in the 1860 census for Rabun Co, GA town of Persimmon District 636. Info from census is: Drury Waters age 38 born SC ?Debra A age 33 born SC Mittie A age 11 born SC James J age 10 born SC Mary E(Elizabeth) age 8 born SC Sarah age 6 born SC Malinda age 5 born SC John B or R age 3? born in SC Eliason? age 10/12 mo born in SC This same family minus Mittie Ann and James were located in the 1870 census in Marshall Co, town of Guntersville in Alabama. Ages are good matches and names are definitely a match. New children are also on this census. Mittie married William Wheeler & lived in TN - on 1870 census for Greene Co, TN.
