John is probably the son of Jonathan TURNER and Lucinda POORE. Jonathan is one of three TURNER men living in upstate South Carolina during the late 1700's and early 1800's. These TURNER men all married RHODES sisters. William TURNER m. Elizabeth RHODES, Jonathan TURNER m. (1) Lucinda POOR, (2) Fanny RHODES and her sister (3)Prisha RHODES. Simon TURNER m. Mary "Polly" RHODES. The parents of the RHODES girls were Christopher & Sarah PETTYPOOL RHODES. We know that William TURNER and Jonathan TURNER were related -Three of us have had DNA tests and were 100% matches. Any information is appreciated. We have a website. The address is listed above.
