I notice that you mentioned Walkers in Virginia. One of my ancestors was Elijah Walker who married Elizabeth Simmons on 21 Nov 1786 in Henry County, VA. They moved to Laurens County, SC by 1800 and both died there. Their daughter Agatha married Daniel Ford. Daniel and Agatha Ford moved first to Oglethorpe County, GA and then Henry County, GA where both died. Their son Elijah Walker Ford married Elvy Purser in Henry County, GA on 15 Aug 1844, and they were living in Marion County, AL by 1850 and both died there. I've never been able to find Elijah Walker's parents in Virginia.
