Dear Marion County Listers, I need your help Patience Harris was born October 4, 1846 in Marion County, Alabama. Patience was the daughter of William Wilson and Nancy Ann (Brown) Harris. Patience was the granddaughter of Azael Daniel & Patience ( ) Harris. She died December 11, 1928 in Alcorn County, Mississippi. About 1868 she married a man named Brown. I have two different Brown names on the census records and wondered which was the correct one. One census had him listed as Marion "Mac" S. Brown or Mc. S. Brown Another census had him listed as Marshal S. Brown. I believe that they were probably married in Marion County, Alabama. Does anyone have information concerning this couple?
