I understand the Court House burned. Am looking for a Thomas Webb line that was in Marion County at least from 1830 to 1870. Believe he might have married a daughter of Thadius Walker who was also in Marion County, AL. Believe some of his sons were Elijah Webb and Silas L. Webb. This marriage may not have occurred in Marion County. Believe Thomas married second to Nancy Webster who was 25 years younger than him and they had 7-8 additional children. Believe this marriage did occur in Marion County. Any help would be appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hello, I have a Silas L Webb who married a Sarah Berryhill, they had a daughter named Hanna Alice, she married a Philip Beasley (my kin). Hanna was born in 1846. Would this Silas L Webb be your Silas?? I do not have a birth date for him or his wife Sarah. But you can see Hanna's birth year at 1846. Philip and Hanna lived in Marion Co, and moved to Ms. When Hanna died and Philip remarried he married a lady with the last name of Fowler. I know I am throwing names out there, but mabye they can help you a little. I have a place in Tenn as Silas L Webb living, McMinn Tn.
