Griffin White received a land grant in Marion County in the mid 1800's and lived there until about 1870 when he moved his family to Savannah, Tennessee. His wife's maiden name was Julia Rhea. Their daughter, Mary Jane White married Robert Lewis Clark, son of William Lee Clark, the second son of William and Chloe Clark, who were among the original settlers in Marion County. Does anyone have information about Julia Rhea? I am searching for the names of her parents.
