    3. Karla, No, they were in with my family photos which have ties to the Parkers and the areas you mentioned. I assume they were taken anywhere from ALA to Oxford MS. It was at a wedding or country club affair since they were dressed in tux etc.. In looking at the Marion County census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870 it looks like John Parker's parents were William and Elizabeth Parker. The 1850 and 1860 censuses lists William Parker's place of birth as Tennessee and the 1870 says Alabama. Elizabeth and children were born in Alabama, according to census.     3. Henry is listed in my copy of the DAR Patriot Index as a Pvt of VA, b___, died 4/24/1814. His widow, Margaret Brunt received a pension. You should be able, for a fee, to get a copy of the membership application for the person who established him as a qualifying ancestor. You will take Hwy. 278 East of Hamilton and turn left at Hwy. 49 North, this is called the 'old Hackleburg Highway'. Total miles, I don't know but it is about 10 miles from the main red light on the Court Square in Hamilton. Maybe your Willam C Dillard is related to my Mary Dillard and your Lucinda Perry to my Thomas Perry.
