    3. I don't have an answer to your question, but I have one of my own for you. Which Wylie's are you researching? I have a brick wall - William Richard Wylie. According to the 1860 Census in Allen Factory, Marion County, Richard Wylie, born in 1813 in GA, married to Mary, having 10 children listed - one of which is Matilda Clementine (b. 1845) who married Isaac Estill. Others are Rebecca, Elisabeth, Amelia, Sarah C., Mary C, Nancy, Josiah, Martha, and Josephine). The Census lists him as Richard but Matilda's death certificate states her fathers name was William. I think this is the correct family but not sure if I have her connected to the right family. I haven't found any other information on them after 1860 Census. Does anyone have any information about this family. Anything will be appreciated. 2. Joan Marie Meyering
    3. Listers, It looks like I have a problem. I have a Robert G. HARBIN/HARBEN who reportedly died 18 Oct 1880, buried at Liberty Cemetery near Winfield. Only problem with that is that he & wife Nancy are alo supposed to have gotten BLM land 20 Feb 1884 in Sect 32,T-2S,R-11W - 4 years later! Anyhow, I had hoped to find probate records for him to find out what kids he had besides James Floyd b1836 but I understand there are no court records before 1885 because of a fire. Are there any other ways I can find out about his descendents? Are there any obituaries available? What paper might have been published then? Any funeral homes? Anything? Please share your ideas & help me. Joan Marie
