Joel, do you know anything about a Margaret White who married Samuel A. Lee? They had a daughter, Mary Jane Lee, who married 30 nov 1877 in Fayette co. John F. Earnest. I know they are connected to the Berryhill family. They lived in both Marion and Fayette counties. Thanks, Sandy Miller

Karla, I have no knowledge of how FAME Pace Mitchell connects; but notice that WEALTHY was another favored name by the Pace family. Fame Pace Mitchell may have been born in the 1870's rather than the late 1840's. I'm really not at all sure of her age since the picture that I have of her is not dated. Thanks, Karla

Thanks to all who sent me the location of Margaret Mitchell's death certificate. I feel silly. Never thought to look in Lamar County. Didn't really think she was there so I never looked. Well as some of you have pointed out, Margaret Mitchell's death certificate is recorded in Lamar County. It's ordered. I just hope the informant knew the maiden name of Margaret's mother. Here is the info: Name: Margaret Mitchell Death Date: 14 Aug 1920 Death County: Lamar Volume: 33 Roll: 2 Page #: 16060 I've had luck just calling Lamar County and ordering the certificate from them. They are very helpful. I am interested in William Taylor because Allen Banister named his first son William Taylor Banister (ca. 1846) in Fayette Co. There was a William Taylor census enumerator in Fayette Co. either 1830, 1840, 1850 (I don't know where it is now). Does anyone know of a Taylor-Banister connection? The Banisters were in Pikeville, Marion Co. for the 1860 census.
