The 9th child of this family was David Shirey. David H. Shirey born 1 Aug 1849 and died 25 September 1904. He married Rebecca Melvina Franks who was born 25 October 1848 and died 15 January 1929. Both are buried at Zion Baptist Church in Marion Co. Their children were Elnora Elizabeth, William Cars, Arminda W., Aarona Devine, Menisco "Coe", and Annie Prellue. This is all the article has on David and Rebecca but has more information on his family. Also can give you submitters name and address.     2. I can't you much and I am not related. Parents were: David W. Pope and Eliza Lavina Carpenter. Francis W. Loden dies before 1910. Vera has had four children by 1910 and only two are living. I can't read the name well -- Leo L. Loden born abt. 1898 and Woody Loden born abt. 1906. In 1910, Vera and the two boys are living in Prentiss Co., MS. Vera is listed as widowed. Karen
