She was buried in the Itasca Cemetery, Itasca, Hill County, Texas. The inscription on her tombstone reads, "No Pain, No Grief, No Anxious Fear, Can Reach The Peaceful Sleeper Here." Nancy married John Parker Lewis about 1855 in Alabama. He was born 02 Oct 1833, and died 06 Jul 1889 in Franklin County, Alabama. He is buried in the Bonds Cemetery in Franklin County, Alabama beside his daughter, Francis, and her husband William Joseph McCalpin. The inscription on his tombstone reads, "Gone to a Bright Home, Where Grief Cannot Come." This information came from the Franklin County, Alabama Heritage Book printed in 1999. Articles on the Lewis family furnished by Tammy Dobbs, 1031 Whipoorwill Circle, Russellville, Alabama 35654. My husband and I visited the Itasca Cemetery November 7, 2002 and photographed Nancy's marker. We hoped to find other family members buried near Nancy, but did not. There are some other Lewises buried there, but it is unknown to me if they are related to Nancy. Elsie Ward Jones elwjones@softdisk.com

My grandparents were William Tell Willett and Lucy Dell Bradshaw. Ggrandparents were William J Willett and Martha W Bradshaw. GGgrandparents were Absolem T Willett and Lucinda Franks. On my grandmother's side, ggrandparents Willis Bradshaw and Lavicie McWhirter. Does anyone have any information on any of these? One of the other members here said that she remembers someone had a map of early Pikeville that showed A. T. Willett's Hat Store right in the middle of town. I would love to see that map if anyone can tell me how to get one. Thanks.
Anyone researching Clarks of Marion County please contact Charles Clark. E-MAIL changed to tclark@midsouth.rr.com Trying to connect William Clark to Thomas Clark from North Carolina during American Revolution War and/or Col. George Rogers Clark during same period. Just purchased a semi-rare book "The American Heritage Book Of The Revolution" printed 1958. Both Clarks' are outlined.
Many thanks to all who helped with Joel Palmer's address.
I'm trying to get in touch with Joel Palmer, if someone would be so kind as to give me his e-mail address or ask him to write me. Many thanks.
