It seems to me there is different defination for Dower, and I wish to thank the people that have sent a reply. Some good people out there!!!! However, one other thing is it a legal document or what that has to probated or put on record somewhere in the County. If it is a written legal document how or where would you go to check and see if there is one on file. Also, does anyone know where you might get some early Maps of Madison County, Alabama.
