Seeking information on David A. McWhorter that married Clarrisa Ann Wells in Lincoln County, TN October 1866 but the 1870 census shows them in Madison County, AL. The 1870 census shows them in Menard County, TX married to a Martha Ralston but with four children from a previous marriage. Assuming that Clarrisa had died because of the children living with the second wife. My mother-in-law was a daughter of Mary McWhorter (daughter of Clarrisa and David). Would appreciate any information anyone might have on these people.
