Hi, does anyone know if there are any tax lists for the years 1822-1827 for Madison and Limestone counties? I am trying to find out if my ancestor Asa McClure (Mclure) and his brother Levi were in those counties during the years 1822-1827. These are the years which Asa and Levi would have been old enough to be listed. Asa's sisters and their husbands were there from at least 1818 when William Scallorn (Scallon) paid the Orphan's Court in Madison County $200 to marry Alice (Ally) McClure (Mclure). We have been unable to find Asa and Levi McClure's parents. Any help is appreciated. Sherry
