    3. The Fanning Cemetery in King's Cove is in Jackson County Al, in over the border from franklin County Tn in an area called Francisco. It is located very far off the road but you should know that the cemetery was destroyed many years ago by logging crews, as I have been told. The Fanning's of this area were William Fanning and Jane Terry and his brother James Fanning and wife Mary. There were several generations of these two men who lived in both Jackson and Madison Counties of Ala. I checked my data base to see if I had a record of a James H Fanning to Emily Kirk and found none. There are quite a few James Fanning's. Do you have a birth date for James?
