Gayle, There is a book in the Madison County Library in Huntsville called Industrious Children of Huntsville, listed are the children who worked in the cotton mills in Huntsville, Dallas, Lincoln and Merrimac mills. The information includes the child's name, date of birth, place of birth, family doctor, parents names, what Mill they worked for and the dates of employement. Hope this helps.
