Vicki, The following link to the AL Dept. Archives & History (ADAH) lists the newspapers in the area that are on microfilm and gives information on how to get interlibrary loans for the copies. Either The Huntsville Times or The Huntsville News would be the most likely source for finding the early March 1991 article you are seeking. The Madison County Record is another possibility though it is a smaller, weekly publication of Madison County. I see one possible problem that you perhaps have already encountered. The archives seem to only up UNTIL Dec. of 1990. The Madison County Record is listed as being archived up until Dec. of 1994 so perhaps it IS a possibility. Of course, it's not nearly as full coverage as the two larger papers would be. I still would check it out if I were you. I will take a look if and when I get time at the library but sometimes I just don't get the time. I can't believe the library wouldn't have anything anymore recent than 1990. Since your query is pretty well defined and recent and likely to be fairly easily to find, I would think the local, Huntsville, Madison County librarian on duty might even be of some help though normally they can't do individual research. All that failing, there are some local professional researchers listed at the linked pages from this site that would probably find it for a small fee. There may be others listening in on this list, who are there more frequently than I, who will look it up for you for free! Another bit of information you may or may not be aware of; The Huntsville News is archived back to 1922 (no help for your particular problem, I realize) but is no longer being published. The Huntsville Times is our only current, daily newspaper but looks like only it may only be microfilmed back to abt. 1982. Perhaps that's when it was founded. I can't remember for sure.
