It has the following mentions of Rogers: p. 43-Catharine Brent married Charles Rogers 3/20/1762, with consent of her stepfather, Edward Carter. p. 202-Joseph Rogers of Culpepper sold to John Carter of Spotsylvania an improved plantation of 188 acres in Orange County. p. 325-Peter Carter married his first cousin, Catharine Rogers 9/23/1712. Issue: Aaron Carter, probably a son of his first wife, Catharine Rogers. He probably came of age about 1738 as August 11, 1738 he gained a suit against his guardian, robert Galbraith, who was the husband of his stepmother.
