Hi everyone I am a newbie! I am Deanie Humphrey and I just recently found that my husbands ancestors may have ties to Madison Co. AL I am looking for John Henry Humphrey and his family. He would have been born ca. 1850-1880's. I know that is a big span of years, but it is hard to pin point a birthyear when you haven't any info. This John Henry Humphrey may have been married twice. I have conflicting info on him. Family members have told me that in 1900, he had a son named Charles age 43,(married Pearl Dunn) and had they these children: Felton, Albert, Hebert, and Elsie. Then I was told John Henry Humphrey and his wife, Susan Whitehead died young, and John's sister Della who married Lemuel Joyner, had guardianship of John and Susan's youngest children, Brady(age 18, 1910 census Tallapoosa Co.,) Sude(Susan) age 12, 1910 census, and Robert, age 5, 1910 Census. If anyone can help me untangle this mystery, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Deanie Humphrey
