I am looking for information on the following CLARKS in Alabama. GENE CLARK known as PORTION CLARK. He was a boxer and was shot in 1940 in a bar. Would like to get any articles pertaining to the shooting. I am also looking for information on a H.T. CLARK We are not really sure of his first name. We believe it is HENRY TOLBERT(TOLIVER) CLARK. He married SARAH ANNIE PARKER. They were both born in 1850's. We did find them on the 1880 census of Bedford Count,Tn. My grandfather was born in Bellbuckle Bedford County in 1883. On the census it states that H.T.CLARKS parents were both born in ALABAMA. We have hit a brick wall concerning them. They are my ggrandparents. Not sure which way to go from here.
