I just sent a posting stating that a federal land patent for James MANNING was 7/1/1831, when it was actually 11/29/1822. I am totally stuck and am trying t find John Manning's father who I belive that James Manning was his father and I know that John was born in AL but do not know who his father is.. but belive t be James Manning.
