My Wallace family begins with John Wallace who was born somewhere in SC 1793. The first sign of him that I have is in the 1850 Van Buren Co., Tn. census along with his son, James. James was born 1832 in SC. He married Elizabeth Mooneyham in 1854 in Van Buren Co., Tn. James died in 1866 in TN. James and Elizabeth were farming in Bledsoe Co., TN. in 1860. Their children are listed below. The family eventually migrated to Lincoln Co., TN. and on into Madison Co., Al. Any help with this line would be greatly appreciated.
