The following information was sent to me by Lil Herrin. I contacted the extractor, Mr. Norman Shapiro, and was given explicit permission to post this roster to the list. The following information was extracted by Norman Shapiro from Microcopy No. 268, rolls 267-270 "Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers who served in Organizations from the State of Tennessee" at the TN State Library, Nashville, TN. Note that the age of many of the men as of the date of muster is included. Those killed (k) or wounded (w) in various battles are also noted. Company E was comprised of men from Madison County, especially Owens Cross Roads, Berkley and New Hope. The roster and information concerning specific battles was published in Valley Leaves, September 1989, published by the Tennessee Valley Genealogical Society. A request has been sent to TVGS for permission to post their article.
