Looking for the parents of William and Tabitha. Did Tabitha have a sister named Ann M. that married Andrew Jackson WOODS and lived at Woods Mill in Madison Co. Ala. On the 1850 Madison Co Census Charles Ruby 21 was living in the household of Andrew Jackson Wood. 1830 Census Madison Co. Ala.had a listing for: John Ruby 1 M 5/10, 1M20/30 Coonrod Ruby 3M under 5, 1M 20/30, 1F20/30 William COBB m. Tabitha C.RUBY; Lic.12 Nov. 1855, Solemnized 15 Nov. 1855 by Wm. Green, Minister of the M. E. Church South; MB4-B, pg.132. Where is the M. E. Church South located? On the return for the marriage of John R. Craft & Mary Ann WOOD. Wm. Green listed his title as M.P.A.J.P. What does this mean? I was very suprised to learn that a Craft or Wood was married by a Methodist and not a Baptist Thanks for any help. Ernest Wood
