About 15 years ago, a cousin, John Lanier took us to Center Cemetery near New Hope. The back part of the cemetery was overgrown with small bushes. John said the grave of Lanier had "Ad" (or "Add) on a small stone for a marker. I wondered if anyone knows if the cemetery has been cleaned up in the back area and if the stone might still be visible? I would love to get a photo of it. His daughter-in-law, Milly Hanner wife of William D. Lanier is buried in the same cemetery. Milly is in an unmarked grave next to the Poor family. Would appreciate any help.
