Barbara, My great-aunt had an index copy of the marriage records of MC AL "DAVIS" I however did not see a marriage of Samuel & Temperance. My papers are getting faded though so could have overlooked. The marriage of Temperance Davis and John Walker is listed though. My great Aunt has a asterick by it. You may already have it though.
