    1. Samuel and Fanny Eddins Walker
    2. Samuel Walker, d. 1840, and his wife Fannie Eddins Walker came to AL from Edgefield SC abt 1815. Samuel Walker served in the AL House of Reps several times and shortly before his death was elected Speaker of the House. I'd like to hear from other descendants of Samuel and Fannie Eddins. (SAMUEL1)1 died January 23, 18412. He married FRANCES "FANNY" EDDINS, daughter of BENAJMIN EDDINS. Notes for SAMUEL WALKER, JR.: Close to the time of his death in 1841, Samuel Walker, Jr. resigned from his position as Spea ker of the Alabama House of Representatives. Notes for FRANCES "FANNY" EDDINS: The estate settlement of Benamin Eddins, Sr., lists dispersal to sons in laws Samuel Walker a nd xxxx Ward. Gandrud's Alabama Records (Vol 209, p. 22) has a comment on Richard Easter "h e was a son [sic] of Samuel Walker, who through is wife Fannie was an heir to Benjamin Eddins , of South Carolina and Madison Co., a Revolutionary Hero."
