Help! My problem is finding information on Robert Lanford. He was from Louisa County, Virginia the son of William Lanford and Elizabeth? His first wife was Patsy Bond and his second wife was Ann Catherine Burgestiner. He arrived to Huntsville, Alabama with LeRoy Pope and is said to have built the second cabin in the area. He had one son survive from his first marriage to Patsy Bond. His second marriage produced two daughters, Caroline Matilda Lanford (my ancestor) and Martha Ann Catherine Lanford. The two sisters married two brothers named McCalley from Virginia. All of them remained in Huntsville, Madison County. I will be grateful for any help I am looking for the names of Robert's family from Virginia other than his father and for information on Ann Catherine Burgestiner... Thanks in advance...
