Here is one of my brick walls. Maybe it rings a bell with someone. Catherine Hulda Preuet married John W. Blakely on 17 April 1872 in Franklin County, Tennessee. They can be found on the 1880 Census in Jackson County, Alabama. They have 3 children, Elizabeth (Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie"), Joseph (Joe), and William. In the 1900 census, John Blakely has died and Catherine Hulda (and son Albert) is living with son Joseph (Joe) and his family. They are living in Lincoln County, Tennessee (24 Civil District). Living next door is daughter, Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Blakely Roberts and her family. She is married to William Marshall Roberts. I don't know where John & Hulda's son William is. In the 1910 census Hulda is living with her daughter, Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Blakely Roberts and her family in the 24 civil district of Lincoln County, Tennessee. I haven't found John & Hulda's sons in the census yet. By the 1920 census Hulda has disappeared. I am beginning to suspect that she has died. I haven't found the sons yet. I have Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Blakely Roberts and her family still living in the 24 civil district of Lincoln County, Tennessee. Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Blakely Roberts is my great great grandmother.
