i am really at a dead end here. i am seeking the families of richard WRIGHT, b. abt. 1797 in VA (or NC), and his wife prisa, b. abt. 1800 in TN. this family was almost certainly in madison co., AL 1818-1827. they then moved to arkansas, first to washington co., then later to carroll/boone co. they were joined by other TN/AL families...the BELLERS, the CAMPBELLS, the WILBURNS, possibly the ALLENS. these families had very close ties and constantly intermarried. the name "allen" was frequently used as a given name for the boys, and "allena" for the girls. i would appreciate any information on this line. please post response here or email me at okmitzi@aol.com.
