Dr. John Roland Hardin, born 1827, Lincoln County, TN to James and Dicy (Jenkins) Hardin; died 1896 in Madison County, AL.; buried at Clay Cemetery at Princeton, Jackson County, AL. I think he may have lived close to New Market, Madison County, AL and may have been in business making wagons in the early 1880's and 1890's. He was married 1st to Mary Ann Hardin, a cousin, in 1850 Franklin County, TN, they divorced, John Roland Hardin married 2nd to Lizzie Williams about 1866/67. They had at least 8 children: 6 names were: William Hardin married Emma Parcus; Thomas Hardin married Pearl Ricketts; Moses Hardin married Clara Baker, Obediah Hardin married cousin Jessie May Hardin, Mamie Hardin married Will Rollins; Demie Hardin married 1st Ed Graham, 2nd Bob Allen.
