    1. Re: ALMADISO-D Digest V01 #136
    2. Yes, Mary thanks anyway and my two cents says I own cemetery books for several states and I never bought one until I found out if my ancestors were in it. I do not own any for Alabama and now I probably will not because I have no way of knowing whether it contains my ancestors. I have however ask all of the family still there and friends to please go transcribe a cemetery or part of one and to ask there groups to help. If and when they do, it will be posted to Madison county US Gen Web for everyone to do their own look ups. As you can see I support free genealogy. I have transcribed six cemeteries in my area and put them on line in their counties and I have received so much help from people who found relatives related to my relatives that emailed me that even though I didn't do it to be paid I feel like I have been repaid for it many times. If the owners of the copyright on that book really want to sell books they should post the surnames from it on this list and tell everyone where it is available for sale. In Posey County, Indiana for example, a woman who has a book on Posey County cemeteries does lookups for the list and when she does the look up ask if they would be interested in the book. I bought three books from her. Thanks Becky
