List Members, This link should be helpfully to those of you wanting to know where places are located in Madison Co. http://www.dimplesattic.net/MapHTML/index.html It includes scanned sections from a very large map of Madison Co., Al. These maps are very detailed showing all the small cemeteries, small towns, Cherokee boundary lines, coves and hollows, mountains big and small, and is blocked off by the township sections. The original map is about 2 ft x 4 ft. I have scanned it into townships. These were scanned in to a. jpg format. This map was printed in 1978 but is no longer in print. You may view it on line or download as many sections as you wish.I feel you will find it to be a helpful tool in your research. Hold the mouse pointer over each section and a box will pop-up that list some of the names of places in each township. Click on the section you want for a larger view. Good Luck, Louise
