According to that census he was born in NC, she in Alabama. There are two other children with them born before their marriage. Matilda b. 1840 Sarah b. 1838 I assume Nancy was his second wife. I would appreciate any information about this family.
This may help you, hope so. Sabrina H. Hambrick, daughter of Joseph V. & Ruthy (Payne) Hambrick; born Sept. 30, 1817;died Jan 3, 1846; married M. Wilburn Jenkins 22 Nov. 1838, Madison County, AL. I think the 2 children with Wilburn on the 1850 are by his wife Sabrina/Salina Hambrick. Joseph and Ruthy (Payne) Hambrick also had a daughter Ruthy Angeline Hambrick; born May 22, 1818, birth date should be 1819 we think;died Mar 24, 1847;married Joseph K. Jenkins Nov 21, 1836 Madison County, AL. Sabrina and Ruthy Angeline (Hambrick) Jenkins are both buried in Hambrick Cemetery in New Market, Madison County, AL Jewel D.
