    1. old records
    2. Within the last two years, the old records have been moved from the courthouse to the 3rd floor of the library. The records are seperated from the geneology records and the hours are different from the library's. If I remember right the old records room is only open Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4pm. I remember it's only Monday thru Friday but I am not sure about the time. It kinda made me think the old records room is open the same time the current records are at the courthouse. I was just there last week. The room is fantastic and two very nice ladies work there. Copies are 25 cents. The photocopier copies in regular and legal size paper. The copies that I made turned out great. There are a large variety of old records covering a lengthy time frame. I found a guardianship court case from the 1950's there. I only researched court cases and marriages but there were alot more index books. I would suggest researching there first before trying at the courthouse. Parking at the library is much easier than at (or anywhere near) the courthouse. Just a thought. Joetta Roberts, Griggs, Blakely, York, Pruitt (various spellings)
