Hello to the list, I am a newcomer here and thought I would post my research interests. I have info that my Cash family was involved in Madison Co. and am looking for family connections. I have the following deed abstract from Washington Co. TN: Washington Co. TN Deeds: 1797-1817 Vol. 2 Pg. 184-5/11/1812 BENJAMIN/ BENJAMINE CASH, Exec of JAMES CASH, Dec'd, Madison Co. of the Mississippi Territory TO SAMUEL BAYLES; 120? Acres on a branch of Little Limestone. CONS; $125L. FOR: Part of NC grant #778 to James Cash. ADJ: Isaack Hair, tract of land conveyed from James Cash to his son William; John Cash, EXC? : 1ΒΌ acres where the meeting house stands. SIG: Benjamin Cash. Wit: Ephraim Anderson, Wm Bayles, Isaac Sheneker. CT: ?? 1812. REG: 30 Sept. 1812. OK, Benjamin was a brother to my John Cash(listed above in deed). John Cash's son was James Ingo Cash b. 1801 Washington Co. TN d. 1885 Rhea Co. TN. He apparently "hired out to a kinsman" and married Ann KEY ca. 1820-1 in Huntsville, Madison Co. By 1823, he went to the Hiwassee purchase up in East TN(modern Roane/Meigs Co. border). That is where my family hailed from, but I am very interested in Madison Co. connections. I think there may be some more connections there and would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who connects or might have info on these relatives of mine. Thank you and God Bless. Sincerely, Christopher Cash
