Hello, my Macon Co Ancestors are David s. Williams b abt 1833-1835 in Ala. (co. unk.) I have looked at the 1850 Macon Co. Census at every Williams family, but found none with a son David S. age 15-17. David first appears in 1860 on the Macon Co., Census age 24 with his wife Jane(Winnie Jane??) age 23 and son William F age 1/12. Also in the household is William Briley age 13 his relationship is unk. David S. served in the CSA Co. G 45th Ala Reg. from 1861-1865 The family remained in Macon Co. until 1873 Other children b. in Macon Co., Sarah Elizabeth 1862, Judson b 1865, Franklin b 1867 and Earnest Walter 1869. They then moved to Colorado Co. Texas were they had 2 more sons, Powell b 1873 and Thomas b. 1877. Anyone know where David's Family is from? Thanks. Joanne Shaffer [email protected]
