We will strive to keep the topic regarding genealogy in the South Carolina area and some can sneak out to locales nearby. History and genealogy discussions are encouraged. Flame wars will not be allowed, but open discussions of genealogy methods, lineages, and success stories is encouraged. Don't expect your list maintainer to get involved a lot, as this list maintainer likes to just be thought of as just another subscriber! If flaming starts, the list maintainer won't warn more than once, but will just unsubscribe the offenders, let them cool their heals, and they can resubscribe if they choose. If they repeat themselves, they will be banned! Any message regarding genealogy in this region, or RootsWeb is encouraged. If you have a problem with something on the list, please e-mail the list maintainer privately and the situation will be reviewed.
