Hi all...well I figure some of you already got this post since you belong to RAN-CLAY but, thought I ought to post here in case others only belong to this list. In my grubby fat little hands NARA, for a slight fee, has graciously rented me the 1840 Macon County, AL Census. There are 11,500 souls listed in the county that year. As most of you know it is listed by head of household only but, I make no promises ...based upon my work and school schedule I can do lookups for you. There are three KELL(E)Y's listed. A William O'KELY (spelled that way), a Joh KELLEY and family and lastly an R. KELLY by himself. If wither of these gentleman connect let me know I have the particulars on them.
