Does anyone know about minutes from Baptist Church in Tuskegee Methodist Church in Tuskegee My ancestors were Evalena Louisa Marshall (born Macon Co 1840-died Atlanta , GA 1891) wife of William Calloway Barnett (born Perry Co, AL 1829-died island No. 10 in Civil War 1862) Louisa Married Benjamin Blakely Welch in Shelby Co, AL 1865 Louisa's mother was Elizabeth Ann (thought to be Townsend) born in SC in 1812. Believe Louisa's father was William Marshall of Abbeville, SC and Macon Co, AL who was dead by 1848. Louisa had a sister, Martha Maria who married Jack Shackelford Cameron in 1846 in Macon Co. I have inherited turn of the century pictures of both the Baptist and Methodist churches of Tuskege. I suspect some of my family must have had an interest in these two churches or the pictures would not be in my possession. Any ideas on the people or the churches would be appreciated.
